Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Last updated: 6 October 2026
SevHas Systems prohibits bribery and corruption. This page sets out that position for customers, suppliers and the public. It is how we meet the standard expected under the Bribery Act 2010.
The rule. Directors, staff, agents and anyone acting for us must not offer, promise, give, request or accept a bribe. A bribe is anything of value given or received to obtain or keep a business advantage, or to induce someone to perform a function improperly. It includes cash, gifts, hospitality, a favour, and a charitable or political donation used as cover. The rule applies in the United Kingdom and abroad, and it applies to public officials and to private counterparties. Facilitation payments are prohibited, even where they are described as customary.
Hospitality. Ordinary hospitality is permitted where it is modest, has a genuine business purpose, and is recorded. Hospitality that is lavish, frequent, or timed around a decision is not permitted. Anything above the level set by the directors needs prior written approval. We do not make political donations.
Third parties. An agent, introducer or intermediary is appointed only after due diligence, and only on a written contract. The fee must match the service. We do not pay a success fee tied to a government award unless the directors have approved it and it has been reviewed in writing. A third party must confirm that they will comply with this policy. We will end the relationship if they do not.
Records. Payments are recorded properly. A side arrangement that is not in the contract is not acceptable. We do not keep off-book accounts.
Raising a concern. Email partners@sevhassystems.com or use the Whistleblowing page. You do not have to give your name. We do not retaliate against a report made in good faith. A breach is grounds for ending the relationship with the person or the supplier involved, and it may be reported to the authorities.
