Modern Slavery Statement
Voluntary statement. Approved by the directors on 6 October 2026. Review due by 6 October 2027.
This statement sets out the steps SevHas Systems takes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. We publish it because customers and counterparties expect it. It is a voluntary statement unless and until a statutory duty under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 applies. A copy of the approving record is available on request at partners@sevhassystems.com.
Our business. We provide specialist drone-on-drone defence capability. That includes technology integration, training, personnel support, deployment support and sustainment. We do not operate a consumer retail chain, and we do not run a high-volume manufacturing workforce on this site.
Our supply chain. Suppliers fall into four groups. Specialist components and subsystems. Engineering, test and technical services. Training and personnel support. Ordinary business suppliers, including professional services, IT and facilities. The higher risk sits where a supplier uses subcontracted or agency labour, or sources goods from a jurisdiction with weak labour enforcement. We treat that as the focus of our checks, rather than claiming the whole chain is low risk.
Our position. We do not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking in our business or in the business of a supplier working for us. We will not proceed with a supplier who will not confirm that position.
What we do. Before we appoint a material supplier we ask them to confirm that they prohibit forced labour, that their workers are free to leave on notice, that wages are paid, and that they will pass the same duty to a material subcontractor used on our work. Where the contract justifies it, we reserve a right to ask for evidence and to end the relationship if forced labour is found and not remediated. We do not use recruitment fees charged to workers. We do not retain identity documents.
People. Directors and anyone who appoints a supplier are expected to follow this statement. A concern from staff, a contractor or a supplier can be raised through the Whistleblowing page, with or without a name. A credible report is looked into. We do not retaliate against a report made in good faith.
Training and review. People who buy goods or appoint suppliers are briefed on this statement. We review it each year, and sooner if the supply chain changes in a material way. We will record any report received and what was done about it.
